Need help right now?
If you or someone else is in immediate danger, or you are thinking of harming yourself:

Please also tell a trusted family member or friend. You do not have to cope alone.
What Prompt Me is and is not
Prompt Me is an educational wellness service with access to counsellors. It is not an emergency or crisis service and it does not monitor your answers in real time. Please do not use the website, tests or messages to ask for urgent help.
How we handle high-risk answers
- On screen: screening questionnaires (such as PHQ-9 and GAD-7) always end with crisis contacts, whatever your score.
- Counsellor review: where you have agreed that counsellors may view your results, a counsellor reviews high-risk answers, such as thoughts of self-harm, during working hours. We aim to review them within one working day.
- Reaching out: if you have booked or been assigned a counsellor, they may contact you to check in. If you gave an emergency contact, we may use it only when we believe there is a serious risk to your life, as the law allows.
- Not a diagnosis: scores are not diagnoses. A counsellor decides next steps with you.
Our commitments
- We do not give medical or clinical diagnoses.
- We never share your answers with employers or schools in identifiable form. Organisation reports contain only anonymised group results.
- We keep counsellor access limited to the clients assigned to them.
- Counsellors follow a written crisis response protocol and a code of conduct.
Privacy and security practices
- Connections to this website are encrypted.
- Profile and test answers are visible only to you and counsellors you have consented to.
- Access to our systems is limited to authorised staff.
- Users under 18 need a parent or guardian's agreement.
- You can ask us to access, correct or delete your data. See our Privacy Policy.
We have not yet obtained formal security certifications. We will list any we achieve here.
